Simone Biles locked her spot in the world championship team with 55.7 points, beating world silver medalist Shilese Jones by a narrow margin of 0.4.
The performance on Tuesday was reportedly not among her personal best as there were errors during all four events, including a fall from uneven bars.
She is the only U.S. woman who has not lost a single all-around competition since 2013. She has won a total of 25 medals in the past.
She has since also claimed five world titles and the Olympic gold in 2016.
The remaining five members of Team USA will be announced after Wednesday.
Her next stint will be at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Antwerp, Belgium, where Biles first made her debut ten years ago.
Biles is also set to become the oldest U.S. woman to compete at worlds in 50 years.
