Your credit score can change every time your credit report is updated. Typically, lenders report your credit activity to credit bureaus like Experian® once a month, but it could range from anywhere between 30-45 days as well. The number of changes in your credit report and hence your credit score may also depend on the number of credit accounts you have.

How much your credit score changes depends on how much each of the five factors (amounts owed, credit history, credit mix, length of credit history, and new credit) are affected by your reported credit activity.
