The Costco Anywhere Visa® Card requires a FICO® Score above 750. That is in the upper limit of a good credit score and about 50 points short of being in the excellent credit score range.

You can only apply for a Costco card if you are already a member. However, membership doesn’t guarantee approval. Costco also looks at your income, current and past debts, and payment history along with your employment status. While you need a Costco membership for approval, you can use the card anywhere Visa is accepted. With the Costco card, you get cashback on gas and electric vehicle (EV) charging, restaurants, travel, and other purchases. It has no annual fees apart from the Costco membership.
