With PayPal Credit®, you can make purchases at any store that accepts PayPal®. You can choose the payment plan that suits you and pay over months, instead of making the entire payment at once.
Most credit cards need you to have a good FICO® Score, which is ideally above 700 (good ranges from 670-739). PayPal is no exception. To qualify for their credit card, you need to have a FICO Score above 670. The best deals are reserved for people with scores above 700.
Your credit score plays a big role in whether your card is approved or not. You may be approved for PayPal Credit with slightly lower interest rates if the credit card company is swayed by your employment status, income, or current outstanding debt. Apart from this, PayPal also looks closely at your history of late or missed payments. Paypal only allows one credit account per person, so if you apply for a second one, your application will be denied.
