    Most refunds generally take 21 days to be approved, provided all the details in the tax return filing are correct. After the approval, your bank may process the refund on the same day or may take a few days to refund your deposit. 

    First, your return is e-stamped and sent to the government. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) takes 24 to 48 hours to accept your return. During this time, it verifies the information you have filled in. If all’s well, the IRS accepts your return and puts you on its timetable.
