To find out who owns your mortgage, you need to either send a written request to your loan servicer, check the information online, or call them directly. The servicer must provide you with this information to their best knowledge including name, address, and phone number or your mortgage owner.

Mortgages are often sold to different parties so the servicer you make your monthly payments to may not always own the loan. But whoever the owner of your mortgage sells the loan to another party, they are required to send you a notice of the same.
