A Best Buy® credit card is a store-branded credit card that can help people build credit. Their credit score requirements are relatively lower, generally have no annual fees, come with a good enough credit limit, and some rewards for in-store purchases (though don’t get caught up with that last bit).

Best Buy has two types of credit cards: Store Cards and Visa® cards. The store card can only be used in Best Buy stores. The Visa credit card can be used in any store that accepts Visa. The Best Buy Store card needs a lower credit score for approval (640) whereas the VISA card requires a score of at least 700.

Other factors like income, other debts, and employment status also play a big role in your credit approval.
