Discover® uses FICO® Score which is the most widely used credit scoring model in the United States. FICO Score is used by 90% of lenders in the U.S. and it is also the oldest credit scoring company. A FICO Score ranges from 300-850. Discover also provides you access to your FICO credit score through their Credit Scorecard feature if you are approved for their credit card. FICO has over 16 different versions of its score. The one that Discover provides access to is FICO Score 8, which uses information from TransUnion®.
