The Equifax® credit score is an educational credit score intended for consumers’ use, which is meant to help consumers assess their credit positions. The Equifax credit score is not used by any lenders or creditors to assess borrowers’ creditworthiness. It has a range of 280-850 and is calculated from the information in your Equifax credit report.

These are the categories the score is divided into:
    Poor: 280-559
    Fair: 560-659
    Good: 660-724
    Very Good: 725-759
    Excellent: 760-850.
