All the major credit bureaus – Experian®, TransUnion®, and Equifax® – update credit scores at least once a month. How often your credit score gets updated depends on how often creditors and lenders report information to the credit bureaus. Most lenders report to credit bureaus once in a 30-45 day period. But, each lender will have their own schedule. A change in your credit score is reflected once your credit report is updated, which can happen several times a month, with one update per creditor.

Checking your credit score once or twice a month will keep you up to date on any changes in your credit score.
